San Diego Clothing Swap Celebrating Earth Day
Let go of what you no longer need and prepare for Spring and new season in 2026! This will be the second clothing and beauty swap event of the year presented by @sanctuarysocialsd, and the perfect place to make friends. Join us for an afternoon of releasing, gathering, and mindful collecting in San Diego at our clothing and beauty product swap.

What your Ticket Includes
- Entry into the clothing and beauty swap as well as to the vendors participating
- Clothing Intake: as you arrive, your gently used or new clothing and beauty items will be at intake, where you will receive a swap ticket per item you bring. you must bring a minimum of 1 item, and a maximum of a 10 items (total including clothing pieces and beauty products — no more than 10!)
- Mingle Hour: from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm enjoy purchased drinks from Stone Brewing while hanging out, meeting new friends, shopping, and playing ice breaker games. During this time, we will be organizing the clothing and beauty items for your swapping convenience. Swap begins at 3:05 pm, but you must arrive during the mingle hour so that we can organize your clothing. No late entry will be permitted after 2:30 pm.
- Socialize in a Safe Environment: Meet a community of like-minded, empowered individuals.
- Sips and lite bites available for purchase: Stone Brewing will have their full menu of bevs and eats available for purchase
About San Diego’s ONLY Beauty Swap
Trade your new and gently used beauty products such as haircare, nail care, skincare, and makeup.
For every accepted item you bring, you’ll receive a ticket to swap for another item at the event. A one to one trade! Here are some guidelines to keep things clean and equitable:
- Unused or unopened products (gold standard)
- Lightly used products (ex: used 1–5 times or 3/4 full) we will sanitize
- Accepting pump, squeeze, dropper, or tube packaging
- Powder products (blush, bronzer, eyeshadow) we will sanitize
- Hair products in bottles (no jars unless untouched)
- NO mascara, liquid eyeliner, lip gloss with doe-foot applicators, or jars that require fingers unless new and unopened
- NO products with visible contamination or past expiration
About the San Diego Clothing Swap
Here’s how it works:
- Bring up to 10 items, minimum of 1 item, adult size of 👯 all genders and size ranges— go home with treasures new-to-you!
- Accepting new and gently used adult sizes, all genders and sizes.
- Accepting lightly used shoes, accessories/bags
- Not accepting clothing from SHEIN or Temu
- Must be freshly laundered
- NO items that are torn, broken, or dirty. No holes, no stains, and no tears
- Every attendee is required to bring a minimum of 1 item (beauty or clothing)
- Every attendee can bring a maximum of 10 items (totaled by beauty and clothing items altogether).

By purchasing a ticket and or attending an event hosted by Sanctuary Social SD and its affiliates (et al.), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Assumption of Risk: Participation in this event is voluntary. You understand and assume all risks associated with attending, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, allergic reaction or property damage. Release of Liability: By purchasing a ticket and attending, you agree to release and hold harmless Sanctuary Social SD, its affiliates, employees, contractors, agents, and any other associated individuals or entities from any liability, loss, damage, or injury that may occur during or as a result of your participation in the event.
Photo & Video Consent: By attending this event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. You grant Sanctuary Social and its affiliates (et al.) the right to use these photos and videos for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, advertisements, and other marketing materials. Health and Safety: You agree to follow all event-related safety protocols and guidelines. If you feel unwell or have conditions that may affect your participation, please notify the event organizers. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and release of liability.
