Stripes & Vests

Spencer and I went to The Living Planet Aquarium that was just opened this Spring! (I teach the owners’ daughter swimming lessons and they kindly gave me tickets. THANKS GUYS!). It was such a blast (huge animal advocate here)! Can’t wait to go again to see the cutest penguins ever. And seals. And stingrays. Now that Spencer and I are in full swing at our works (we both have two jobs) it is almost impossible to see each other, unless in the quiet moments in the morning when I sneak out early, or the late night chats when he gets home before we fall asleep. Our “power dates” (as my dad calls them) to the gas station to get drinks and treats, or our weekend dates (we do a Saturday morning date every week) mean the world to me! I wonder if it ever gets easier to see each other?
Maybe you have noticed (if you stalk fashion blogs like I do) that stripes are a major thumbs up right now. So are maxi dresses. So are vests. Today’s posts incorporates all three, thanks to the lovely Our World Boutique for carrying the exact dress I was looking for! I had to add my new Bear Paw sandals (yes those are ropes!). I am sad to say that I found out their Espadrilles are out of stock, and those were my next buy.
