Places to Eat: Park City Utah
Spence and I love to eat out. We probably visit restaurants once a week (twice if we can afford it). While staying in Park City, Utah at the Montage Deer Valley for our anniversary we made an exception, every meal was eaten out!
We were able to experience a variety of places, and I am going to tell you a little bit about each restaurant we went to!
Our first meal was down in the middle of Park City, on Main Street. We were looking for about an hour in and out (just wanting to check in for our stay; I was already dressed for the pool with my swimsuit under this amazing dress. First stop was at Red Banjo Pizza.
1. Red Banjo Pizza (Price ~ $10 per person, if sharing a pizza). This was probably my favorite flavor of restaurant we went to! It is the oldest restaurant in PC with an awesome urban feel to the venue. It wasn’t busy at all on a Friday afternoon. We shared an Onion Ring Basket ($3.59) for an appetizer, and a medium Red Banjo Special pizza ($15.79). The onion rings had the light crisp batter that taste oh so good until they hit your waistline. The pizza felt right up our ally with Canadian Bacon, Pepperoni, Beef, Sausage, Onions, Fresh Mushrooms, Black Olives & Green Peppers. It comes with a lemon to squeeze on top, which is an absolute must!!!! Be sure to ask for some ranch to dip! Overall rating (on a scale of 1-5) | PRICE: 5 | TASTE: 4 | SERVICE: 3 (they are a little slow) | RECOMMENDATION: 5

2. Grappa Italian Restaurant (Price ~ $25-35 per person). This restaurant had the most exquisite feel to it. Immediately when you walk in, you feel an atmosphere of class and privacy, even though the tables were close to each other. The venue was in an old house, with upstairs and downstair serving areas, pretty natural lighting, and rustic interior settings. We shared a Calamari Friti ($12) for an appetizer, and Risotto plate ($27). The calamari was good, but I have had better. The risotto is made differently everyday per chef’s choice, but it was good! Neither of us had had risotto before; it had the nice comforting feeling of warm rice. The rice blend was a little bland and lacking flavor. The plate was huge, we shared and still had leftovers. Overall rating (on a scale of 1-5) | PRICE: 2 (so expensive) | TASTE: 3 | SERVICE: 5 (treated like a King and Queen) | RECOMMENDATION: 3

3. Apex at the Montage (Price ~ lunch $20 per person, when not sharing). This restaurant was the most convenient for our stay, we just had to walk downstairs at the resort. I loved that the hostess sat us near a window (natural lighting) without even asking! The place was quiet, but not very private. When other families were there, we felt like whispering because the atmosphere was so elegant and there was no background noise. I was also disappointed to find out that when I ordered my Diet Coke, it came out from a bottle. Where is my fountain coke?! We shared the Free Range Bison Burger ($21) for a quick snack. The burger was delicious, but felt a little informal in such a nice bar and restaurant. Overall rating (on a scale of 1-5) | PRICE: 3  | TASTE: 4 | SERVICE: 5 (quick service) | RECOMMENDATION: 3
