Have you ever tried to define your style?
Trust me when I say that I have probably spent an hour taking style quizzes (it’s okay to waste time every once in a while). I have looked through my closet, read books, even looked at what similar bloggers define as their “style”. It is so hard to describe a pattern of dress, when there isn’t really a pattern. I guess you could say I choose dark washes, blues, greens, maroons, blacks, and whites. But, does color really clarify a style? It bounces around from bohemian to edgy, to sometimes a dash of prep. All I know is that I like what I like, and that is what goes into my shopping cart.
I also know that spending more than an thirty minutes getting ready is too long.
Whatever my style is, Alexx Jae and Milk fit right into it! With their relaxed take on classic styles, they scream of “cool French girl”. This midi shirt from their Fall 2015 line is perfect with high-waist jeans, or any skirt, really. If you’re like my high schoolers, then it’s perfectly cool to wear the shirt showing off your belly button. Alas, I am too old for that. Perhaps too Frawnch as well.

September 29, 2015That question took me oddly by surprise. I'm a style blogger….but I have no idea what my style is. I think confining one's preference for clothes to terms as labels is too restricting a thing to do, though. Like you said, we wear what we like, and one day, we may like classic pieces and the next, we'd prefer the 70s. Whatever it is, I think you look so flippin' good! Loving the denim jacket so much!
