Spencer and I recently bought ourselves some bikes! We have only been able to take them out about 10 times so far with the unreliable Utah weather. Once, for a week straight, we were able to go for afternoon rides around town. I seriously felt my legs getting into shape from just that! It made me realize just how out of shape I am and how happy I am for muscle memory.
The coolest part about our bikes is that they are vintage frames! We found a (literal) whole in the wall bike shop that let us pick out our frames from hundreds of bikes he had stacked in the shop. Later, he fixed up the bikes with new chains, seats, handle bars, and tires. They came out looking awesome! Mine is a bright orange color and Spencer’s is a true blue and white. Now if only everyone could stop praying for rain so that we could get some sunshine around here and my legs could get back on the fit track!
P.S. I would just like to point out the awesome mural in these pictures. There were bullet wholes in the windows next to us and several mid-aged men stopped and told Gentri (the awesome photographer for these) and I that we should consider going to a “nicer part of town”. All in the name of blogging, right?!

Your bikes sound awesome!!! We have cruisers and I love nothing more than taking them out for evening rides. Unfortunately our weather has been just as unreliable as yours – but hopefully Spring decides to make a permanent appearance so we can all get back out and tone those legs 😉
