Mindy Mae’s Market & Layers and Lipstick Linkup

This week J Petite asked me to be a part of her Layers & Lipstick Linkup! I was so excited to be asked to participate, and the theme of Effortless Waves and Stripes fit right in with my favorite hairstyle and this Mindy Mae’s Market striped Lucy dress!
If you are wondering how or what I use to curl my hair, I have a tutorial on YouTube that can be found here. More recently I have been wrapping my hair around the barrel, but leaving about 2 inches off of the heat at the end of the strands to get a more natural, beachy look.
I have to say, I love this striped dress! It is a fun summer look that can be worn around town or dressed up for church. The vertical stripes have a slimming effect that is sure to make you feel like you’ve achieved your summer body! I am wearing a size medium and it fits, although it is more of a body-con style. If you want to have a looser fit, I would recommend sizing up!
