Sway’d by Suede

In case you have been living under a rock, this season is all about textures. Along with velvet, suede is a must-have trend if you want to hang with the cool kids! I searched long and hard for the perfect suede moto jacket for my style and came up empty. I even found this one at the Nordstrom anniversary sale this last summer, but it sold out as I put it in the basket (lucky for you it is back in stock in so many amazing fall colors)!

This particular brown suede motorcycle jacket was meant to be. It found its way to me as I was browsing thrift racks at my usual joint. The giddiness could not be contained because of its utter perfection and the shockingly low price tag. It went home with me. It went with me to New York. It went to a fashion show and sat next to a popular magazine editor. 

There is just something so special about finding clothing like this. When I wear pieces that I found in corner recycle stores and they add so much to my closet, I sometimes wonder what kind human decided to give them up.
