Stop and Smell the Roses

I had two bridal’s showers this weekend (I am too spoiled, thanks everyone!), so I felt it was only necessary to look cute. Heidi from Heidala’s had recently sent me this skirt and it had to be shown off. The fabric is soft to the touch, almost like my favorite  cashmere scarf. But the pattern is what is truly intriguing. For fear of sounding terrible, it reminds me of an old canvas couch! Instead of the couch from your grandmother’s, this is the ultra chic kind. The kind that Oprah probably had in the early 90’s. Perhaps this fabric WAS from Oprah’s couch. That makes the skirt worth gold. Plus, I can’t speak for everyone, but high waisted anything sure seems to do the body shape some good.
