A red wool coat and a winter colored plaid shirt have been on my outfit combo to-do list forever.
FINALLY, I have found the perfect JCrew red and green plaid. I remember the first time I saw someone wearing one. It was envy inducing; I have been on the search ever since. This one was actually thrifted from the one and only, you guessed it, Uptown Cheapskate. I might add that this beautiful red wool coat with the black contrasted lapel is not only stylish, but also brings the perfect amount of warmth. I can’t wait to continue to find new ways to pair it for my winter wardrobe. I think it might even go perfect with these booties (I them featured here) from Little Mistress as well! Be aware, if you are buying from the US, the sizing is different because it is based in the UK.
I’ll be honest, it took me awhile to get on the Alex and Ani charm train. I swear that every friend of mine had at least one bracelet that they toted around. As you may know though, no one wears just ONE Alex and Ani bracelet. They are meant to be stacked! I originally loved the idea of Alex and Ani because they are made in the USA. This promotes jobs in my own country’s workforce, building the economy! I also liked how the jewelry was unique and could show empowerment. Once I found out that they had wrap bracelets, and not just charm bracelets, I became hooked. I now wear this stack of 3 all the time!
