Spring is the season of renewal and growth, and what better way to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather than by updating your wardrobe with a Spring Color Palette of clothing that complements your unique skin tone? Whether you have a True/Warm Spring, Bright Spring, or Light Spring skin tone, there are a variety of shades that will enhance your natural beauty. Often, Color Analysis is used to find the perfect shades to wear!

What is Color Analysis?

Color analysis is a method used to determine which colors of clothing and makeup will look best on a person. It is based on the idea that certain colors will be more flattering on a person based on the tones in their skin, hair, and eyes. To do a color analysis, a person can either visit a professional or use a color analysis tool, such as a seasonal color chart, to determine their dominant colors. Once their dominant colors have been identified, they can use these colors when selecting clothing and makeup to create a cohesive and flattering look. It is important to note that while certain colors may be more flattering on a person, it is ultimately up to personal preference and style.

The Spring Color Palette

Mostly, a spring color palette in color analysis includes colors that are warm, bright, and clear. The colors are typically associated with springtime and are believed to be complementary to people with a “spring” skin tone.

People with spring coloring tend to have warm skin tones, light to medium hair color, and bright, warm eye colors like blue, green, or hazel. When you have fall into the spring color palette, you look best in clothes and makeup in warm, bright shades.

What color of denim is best for a true Spring? Lightwash is supposed to be big this year but I’m not sure how that works in my closet.

Spring is lucky because they look good in almost all jeans! I would say medium wash is the best since it falls in a “muted” category, but you could definitely get away with the light spectrum of medium wash, or a darker light wash!
