5 Hair Accessories for Back to School in the Fall

One thing is for sure: I never feel fully ready unless my hair looks good! Ponytails, buns, and braids are all great on their own, but adding an extra ‘oomph’ to your style with hair accessories can take a look from good to great! Hair accessories are very much ‘in’ this fall as everyone heads back to school. Keep your hair looking fabulous (and out of your face) with these five hair accessories.

You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for headbands to trend again. I never stopped wearing them, but it’s nice to look current with my style 🙂 Headbands are one of the best ways to keep your hair out of your face and reduce oil between washes! Even better, the headbands of 2019 are bigger and bolder than ever. Flowers, rhinestones, pearls, and puff are just a few of the additions I’ve seen for the headbands of the year.

Silky Scarves

In my humble opinion, silk scarves will never die. They are timeless and classy (even when worn as a shirt). I’ve been wearing my scarves as hair accessories in a low ponytail, in a high half-up pony, and as headbands. They’re versatile and cover up a bad hair day pretty well.

Statement Clips

If you haven’t seen the resurgence of statement clips, it’s time to get out more! You don’t have to stop at butterfly and pearly clips– you can also go more city glam with rhinestones spelling out sassy words. Clips can help create volume on your more flat hair days. They’re also pro and keeping your bangs out of your face!

Braided Hairbands

Braids will never go out of style, so this isn’t a new way to wear your hair. However, life instantly got easier! Now with Madison Braids, instead of working tirelessly to get the perfectly smooth braid crown, you can just put in a braided headband and achieve the same look. You can change braid styles and choose from varying colors to get the perfect hair match. I have two with different braids. Boom, hair styled in a cinch. I’ve had my fair share of bad hair days, but they are easy to fix with the gorgeous pearl hair accessories that are currently trending. Add pearls to anything and stick it in your hair and you’ll probably look cute AND cool. I have both clips and a headband with pearls on them!
